Policies

Registration
Payment is expected at time of reservation. You will receive a receipt and registration confirmation by email or in the mail. The full names of all individuals staying at Hermann Bluff must be included in the Webervations data request form.

Check-In & Out
Check-in time is between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Check-out time Monday through Saturday is 11:00 a.m. Check-out time on Sunday is 1:00 p.m. if guests are not expected Sunday evening.
At check-in you will be asked to sign a disclaimer stating that you are aware of Hermann Bluff policies and stipulations.

Cancellations
“Unforseen things happen.” Here’s how cancellations are handled:

1) All cancellation includes a 10% handling charge.
2) Cancellations made 3 days or less in advance of scheduled arrival will not receive a refund.
3) Cancellations made between 4 and 29 days in advance of scheduled arrival will receive a 50% refund if we are able to fill your reservation date.
4) Cancellations made 30 days in advance of scheduled arrival will receive a full refund (less the 10% handling charge).

Enjoy & Rules of the House
Make yourself at home. Everything in the house — from the kitchen utensils, to the wide screen TV, to the DVDs and CDs — is there for your use and enjoyment. We only ask that things stay where they belong. You are not expected to clean the home before you leave. When using the spa tub please close and lock the cover after each use. Limit your spa sessions to 20-30 minutes. This is a residential neighborhood. Have fun, but please be respectful of your neighbors.

Occupancy
Our use permit limits the number of adult occupants to four. All guests must be 18 years of age. You are welcome to have visitors during your stay, but only registered guests may spend the night. If for some reason you do have overnight visitors, a charge of $150 per person will be added to your bill. In any case, the maximum adult occupancy is four.

Children
Hermann Bluff by its very nature is not suitable for children.

Housekeeping
Housekeeping services are generally not provided for one- and two-night stays. For longer stays, housekeeping services can be made available by prior arrangement.

Pets
Please leave your pets at home. A $200 per day assessment will be charged for people who bring pets.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the guesthouse. Feel free to smoke outside. Guests who do not respect the no smoking policy will be charged $250 for cleaning and will not be allowed future reservations.
